Wright has once again shown himself to be the bigger man with this reaction:

.I’m sending you this olive branch @StanCollymore because in my heart I have love for you. We go back to far for this ridiculous spat to continue! I understand that in life our actions and decisions can cost us dearly. But there is, if you want it,redemption for everyone.

The argument started when Collymore criticised Wright and others in an interview with the Guardian.

“To be a black pundit you either need to be a comedian like Chris Kamara or Ian Wright – guys who have big pearly-white smiles and everyone loves laughing at – or Jermaine Jenas and Alex Scott, who are completely inoffensive,” Collymore said.

Wright responded by tweeting Collymore, cc-ing in the other targets of Collymore’s words:

That caused Collymore to lash out, calling Wright “the epitome of a Tom” and a “c***”.
