Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has been named as the anonymous donor of a hefty sum of money that allowed a four-year-old boy to receive cancer treatment.
Matic had donated the money to Dušan Todorović – a child in his native Serbia suffering from neuroblastoma – without wishing to be named. but the boy’s father was unable to contain his gratitude and named Matic as the man who donated €70,000 towards the cause.
Partizan Belgrade have also been instrumental in raising a total of €200,000 for Todorović to travel to Spain for treatment.
