Jurgen Klopp says his squad’s run to the Champions League final has been inspired by the staff at the club’s Melwood training ground.
Liverpool produced a heroic performance in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final clash against Barcelona to overcome a three-goal deficit to reach the Champions League final.
And Klopp insists everyone at the club “win for each other” ahead of the showdown in Madrid on June 1.
“Each player knows the name of each person who works at Melwood,” said Klopp.
“It’s not down to me to create an atmosphere, each person is responsible for that, in a football team especially. It worked out well, we all win for each other.
“We do it for Carol and Caroline, we do it because we know how important it is to them.
“That just makes it more valuable and worthy.
“If you have a bigger group to do it for, the better it feels for yourself.”
